Birdsville Races - Itinerary. The following is just a brief itinerary to give you an idea of what we will be doing and where we will be going. Once signed up, you will be sent a detailed itinerary of the trip. Day 1 - Sydney to Burke. We have a few kilometres to cover today. We travel through great country towns like Mudgee, Dubbo and Nyngan before arriving in Burke. Tonight we will head into town for a relaxed meal together. Day 2 - Burke to Quilpie. Day 3 - Quilpie to Windorah. Day 5 - Birdsville.

Authority and Licensing

Boomerang Adventures has worked hard to fulfil the requirements necessary to gain a commercial operators licence on the Kokoda Track. The Kokoda Track Authority (KTA) has introduced 'Commercial Operations Licences' (COL) for any business being conducted along the Kokoda Track Corridor. Currently, the COL only applies to Kokoda Track Tour Operators. Trek permits are the only legal way in which trekkers can walk the Kokoda Track. These permits can only be purchased by Licensed Tour Operators.
