Everyone with a radio wants to talk and unlike a conversation at the kitchen table, on the radio you have to wait for whoever is speaking to let go of their microphone before you can speak. This creates some unique issues that can impede any conversation. To keep the conversation moving and allow everyone a chance to talk there are some simple courtesies that we can all employ.
