Parenting on the spectrum. Friday, August 3, 2012. Because I can't just post "Big day at Children's Hospital" on FB since I 'friended' my dogs' breeder. It's going to be a tough one today. And add 2 dogs to the mix- the 1 1/2 year old one and the itty bitty puppy. I love them and don't regret having them, but it does add a little bit more crazy to the house. This kid turned a big 5. This month. He is EVERYWHERE. For real. He got a trampoline and when we add that to his scooter he got for Christmas, he seems to be a lot HAPPIER. He likes to go visit our neighbor, Sister Wangeman, and get treats. He gets really excited. He also likes to bring her treats. Especially cookies. She is one of his favorite people. Friday, October 11, 2013. I love this kid; my little companion each morning. I’m often corrected when I squeeze him and call him. He’s certainly not a baby anymore moving onto bigger things each day. Like mastering the potty. He’s on day 2, with only one accident.  I’m thinking I should throw myself a party. I will be diaper free. FREE. For the first time in 12.5 years. Bring on the parade! Tuesday, October 22, 2013. I’m sure most of you remember the terrible flooding that happened here in Colorado in the beginning of September. Mostly northern, near Boulder. The Stake up there did as much as they could, but then enlisted the surrounding Stakes for help.
