Sunday, August 28, 2011. Life in the islands. When the weather is nice, we are very lucky to have a boat and friends with boats that we can enjoy what the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We have had some nice weekends that we have headed out either for just the day or to stay the night. The kids love being on the boat and then being able to play and run free on the beaches. Friday, October 12, 2012. Life in the pumpkin patch. My mom and I got to go on Blake's first preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch! I have been out to Stoney Rigde Farms a couple times with Cole and his class and now it is fun to redo this experience with Blake and grandma Connie as well. They got to learn all about the farm, the apples and pumpkins, see and feed the farm animals, go on a wagon ride pulled by a tractor and play in a corn maze. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Life with my soccer players. Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Life with soccer.it's fall season. We are back on the soccer field, both mom and Cole actually. As well as playing, I am coaching Cole's team once again with another dad. This is our third season together, with a lot of the same kids and it has already been a lot of fun. Really! I know, purple! Sunday, April 15, 2012. Last week we spent the day in Seattle with Grandma Mona at the Science Center, walking around the fountain at Seattle Center and the Space Needle. The boys also got to do an early Easter Egg Hunt with grandma and grandpa and had a blast! Here are some pictures of our gorgeous day in Seattle! Um, I didn't mean to get wet! Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Life with random facts. The boys are at the perfect ages and sizes to "walk on your back". Like when I have a soccer game and I am tight, I have the boys walk on my back. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Life with getting ready for Halloween. This past weekend we had a blast going to the local Halloween shop and thrift store to check out Halloween costumes and get some ideas. We could not stop laughing as we tried on an array of costumes and hats and were plain out goofy! None of these are the actual costumes that will be worn on the big day, but we sure had fun! Favorite option, too bad jacket was $60. If only I kept mine I had as a kid.same one I'm pretty sure!

Monday, December 12, 2011. Life with Tuesday tidbits. Cole has started to read chapter books and is such a big boy and lays in bed with his lamp on reading. Last night I had to tell him to turn the light out in 10 minutes. I love that he loves to read. So exciting! Last night he finished Flat Stanley.
