With an elevation of over 10,000 feet, Haleakala is the tallest mountain on Maui. We drove to the top of this spectacular mountain, where we were literally higher than the clouds. Temperatures at the top are chilly and we were thankfully prepared. This national park is easily one of my favorite places that we visited while in Hawaii. Happily Hosted by DreamHost.

The Kalalau lookout, up at the top of the Napali coast (and just north of Waimea Canyon) is one of Kauai's most beautiful vistas. We visited this spot on the final full day of our visit to Kauai, and I'm glad we had the opportunity to see it. Happily Hosted by DreamHost.

While on our honeymoon in Hawaii, my wife and I visited the island of Kauai for 5 days (the first of three stops). This album is an assortment of photographs taken there that don't fit into any one specific theme. Kauai is an incredibly beautiful island, though it feels (and is) quite small.
