Aussie Oscar: Camping in Deep Creek National Park
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2015/02/camping-in-deep-creek-national-park.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. Camping in Deep Creek National Park. We pitched our tent at the Trig campground. It was 30 degrees in Mt Barker but only 21 and very windy down by the coast. On our first day we walked down to Deep Creek Cove. It was quite a steep walk but with breathtaking scenery. Everyone walked really well. Lots of kangaroos hang out around the very basic campground. Here they drink some water from an overflowing rainwater tank. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Saturday, March 21, 2015. A few months ago we planted some sunflower seeds in our garden. We nurtured it, watered it and it turned into a beautiful flower. Aussie Oscar: February 2014
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 1, 2014. Day on the beach - the Australian Way. Mamma's friend Petra has her birthday on the 26th of January which coincides with Australia Day. She invited her to her parents place for dinner and to watch the fireworks on the Semaphore beach. After dinner we went across to the esplanade where there were some amusement rides. We tried some ball throwing to win $20, ran around in the Fun House and Carl tried some acrobatics. Welcome. I'm the boss of the sandpit. View my complete profile.

Aussie Oscar: Rapid Bay
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2015/02/rapid-bay.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. So at our camping trip in Deep Creek on the weekend we forgot our Camelbak and returned the weekend after to collect it from the Delamere General Store. Very different weekend: 39 degrees, sunny - total fire ban. So we could not use our gas stove and had to drive to Rapid Bay to cook our dinner/breakfast. We did and enjoyed a late evening dip in the calm ocean. Bliss! And just some sand. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Check out my friends Blogs:.

Aussie Oscar: January 2014
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Last weekend we caught up with our cousin Brad who now lives in America and plays football for Maryland. This is Anna with Brad's "Ball of the Game" award. And all of us being a bit shy (Will even in Brad's spare jersey! And then we all got close! Go Brad Craddock #15! Fishing from Paul's boat. Back at camp we had to clean them, and cut off the bits you can't eat. The yucky bits we fed to the waiting seagulls and pelicans. One day we had a freak storm that ripped through the ...

Aussie Oscar: August 2014
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 9, 2014. The other week we were out and about taking the back roads out of Mount Barker when we came across a closed off road to Kanmantoo. A car race was in progress and we had to wait until all the cars had passed. It was very exciting! Especially since we had been going on that road daily when we lived in Kanmantoo! But of course much slower. So instead we headed to Alexandrina Cheese Company for a big milkshake! Good but not like fishing. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Aussie Oscar: February 2015
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. Although Anna only turns 3 on the 16th of February we celebrated her a day early. Anna was woken up by singing, presents and a delicious chocolate orange cake. A table full of more presents. And the afternoon with her little posse: Tilly, Maddie, Iris and Anna. And just some sand. Camping in Deep Creek National Park. We pitched our tent at the Trig campground. It was 30 degrees in Mt Barker but only 21 and very windy down by the coast. Alanah and Luke's wedding. A week after Ca...

Saturday, March 21, 2015. But 3 times we have already caught one of these possums that live in our fruit trees. We have had to let them go again. And today we even caught a black bird in it! A few months ago we planted some sunflower seeds in our garden. We nurtured it, watered it and it turned into a beautiful flower. Now we are drying the head hoping for delicious sunflower seeds to eat. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is about a little boy named Oscar who lives in far far away Australia.

Aussie Oscar: July 2014
http://aussieoscar.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 22, 2014. This is where we headed last Sunday but this time all the way to the end where the Murray River flows in the ocean. It was pretty rough, lots of fun to get there. The current was pretty strong and we saw a seal play in the surf. Looked like a good place to be. Next time we want to come back with our fishing gear. We've been out and about the last few weekends with our new 4WD. We love it! A big red kangaroo. A bunch of crazy off road drivers! And served on our new op-shop plates.
