White Room: 498-A
http://rheasilvia.blogspot.com/2010/06/498.html
Wednesday, 16 June 2010. My torso is a drum. Reverberating under your closed fist and open hand. My back the mat. You wipe your feet on, careless, forceful. And my breast the pillow. On which you rest your head and try your teeth. You have taken and turned me. You have dissected me,. Separated me into my component parts. Tossed away every superficial thing,. Save(d) only the bare essentials. The hands that bring you food. The mouth that brings you love. Saturday, 26 June, 2010. Tuesday, 29 June, 2010.

White Room: jude
http://rheasilvia.blogspot.com/2010/06/jude.html
Thursday, 24 June 2010. It is unfair to be made to feel out-of-place/superfluous/unwanted in a place you love, which you've proven yourself integrally a part of, which it would hurt you to leave. But it is, perhaps, a reminder of the fact that it hasn't been all good, even when you're all brimming with nostalgia and bedecked with rose-tinted glasses/binoculars/telescopes/magnifying-glasses/what-have-you. Thirty-wo 'I'm' texts need not be from teeth. Sophi mashimas attempting to flirt is creepy as hell.

White Room: Memento Mori
http://rheasilvia.blogspot.com/2010/06/memento-mori.html
Wednesday, 16 June 2010. And thighs spread around. Cunt, want-wet and clamped. Around your flesh in my flesh. Red from your teeth in my flesh. Clamped down and suckling:. This is how we come together. In hollow darkness, switched off,. And the gaps of clothes rearranged. I have your marks still,. Crescent moons of blood pale. Against my surging flesh. As your flesh pale against mine. Dark as the bruises purpling. Beneath your hands on my flesh:. This is how I remember you. In blood beneath and on my skin.

White Room: you can never go back home
http://rheasilvia.blogspot.com/2010/06/you-can-never-go-back-home.html
Wednesday, 30 June 2010. You can never go back home. Or to school, as the case might be. It will seem familiar and taunt you with missing teachers, absent mentors, red-tape complications, and unfamiliar, screaming juniors. It will suck and you will decide to never return, and then realise you made that promise the last time you visited. However, since you will, like as not, end up stuffing your face with pan-fried momos, life is not all bad. Wednesday, 30 June, 2010. Didnt tell them who it was, no? Aweso...

Random Ramblings: Day 29: A Book Everyone Hated But I Liked
http://irrelevant-banter.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-29-book-everyone-hated-but-i-liked.html
We are all made of stars.". Sunday, 10 July 2011. Day 29: A Book Everyone Hated But I Liked. We'd had this on the syllabus for the Victorian Literature course in PGI, and most of my classmates didn't read it, choosing to do Dickens' Bleak House. Instead, and the few that did read it, didn't like it. I didn't love. This book but I liked it, and did think it was very intelligently written. For those who can get through the rather slow pace and the typical Victorian style, this book is a good read. I hardly...

Random Ramblings: Day 20: Favourite Romance Book
http://irrelevant-banter.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-20-favourite-romance-book.html
We are all made of stars.". Thursday, 16 June 2011. Day 20: Favourite Romance Book. Does Love In The Time Of Cholera. Count as a romance? It's certainly a love-story. The definition of a 'romance' is still a little dicey to me, especially after having studied Walter Scott's The Heart of Midlothian. A love story, but because it's a very unconventional one that has the power to move you. Sigh I am going to read. Im getting back to Marquez again. 17 June 2011 at 09:08. 18 June 2011 at 20:16.

We are all made of stars.". Thursday, 16 June 2011. Day 19: Favourite Book Turned Into A Movie. I'm generally not a big fan of movie adaptations of books, that being said - A Clockwork Orange. Would probably be my favourite book turned into a movie - because both book and movie have immensely strong points. However, I have already mentioned ACO. For this tag, so I shall go with another answer - the Harry Potter. It's only the last book -. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,. View my complete profile.

Random Ramblings: Day 24: A Book That I Wish More People Would’ve Read
http://irrelevant-banter.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-24-book-that-i-wish-more-people.html
We are all made of stars.". Monday, 27 June 2011. Day 24: A Book That I Wish More People Would’ve Read. A lot of people have. Read this, I know (especially thanks to the Children's Literature. Course last semester), but for the large part, many people remain unaware of this little treasure of Sue Townsend's. Which can make me laugh out loud! I keep returning to these too. Adrian Mole is beyond deep. Seriously. 1 July 2011 at 23:41. 4 July 2011 at 20:56. 7 July 2011 at 15:23. 8 July 2011 at 22:45.
