Thursday, October 19, 2006. It only takes one. I have trained myself to give without expecting anything back, to give without expecting a thank you. I think I have got this lesson covered and I don't get disappointed or offended when the mothers do not thank me or acknowledge the gift. I understand they are sometimes shy, sometimes overwhelmed, occasionally ungrateful and often they feel entitled to the gift. She laughed with delight and thanked us profusely and I felt so good. I am back on my horse!

These littlies are our warriors, fighting for their very lives. We couldn't go in today because the awesome Dr White (my paed too) was attending to them.
