November 13, 2016. The run begins directly after the singing of our National Anthem. DCR’s Artesani Park, 1255 Soldiers Field Road, Boston. Arrive early for free parking at the Artesani Park. Alternative parking can be found at the parking lots along Soldiers Field Road; see map of lots here. Cars parked in the Shaws/McDonalds/Petco lot may be towed and there is no parking directly on Soldiers Field Road (only in the approved lots). 5K Race and Course Map. The Boston River Rats number 30-plus members and range in years from early-20s to mid-60s. Our paces may range from 6:40 to 8:40 depending on the day and elements, but our support of each other and the group's over-arching camaraderie never waver. Every morning, Rats await with eager anticipation the hour when they meet for their run. Equally, every afternoon Rats continue their days with full appreciation for having accomplished such a task.
