The way I see it…. Book Review: Cry, The Beloved Country. Catching Up →. February 8, 2015. Last Friday I went up to the city with two things on my list… my day did not turn out as expected, but I had fun exploring a couple new places. My day started in Chinatown…. Chinatown is crammed full of all sorts of entertaining things:. The cable car signs in China Town are English on one side and Chinese on the other:. I spent some time on the labyrinth with some pretty stained glass light on the floor:. My next ...

Capitola | The way I see it...
https://melissakae45.wordpress.com/2015/02/01/capitola
The way I see it…. February 1, 2015. I took the afternoon of MLK day off to join a couple good friends for some quality time and another trip to the beach. This time a little further south in Capitola. We started with lunch at Gayle’s–a bustling deli and bakery with all sorts of delicious looking options. Lunch was followed by a bakery splurge and some hot chocolate, which we took with us down to the beach where we settled into the sand for some sunshine and conversation. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The Reese's: What a weekend!
http://thereeses.blogspot.com/2008/12/what-weekend.html
Monday, December 8, 2008. Thursday night, Nathan came down with a 102 temperature, sadly derailing an early (and marginally successful) attempt at potty training. He spent the rest of the weekend feeling fairly awful and requesting "Mommy burp! Why, you might ask, was Chad's dad in town this weekend? By myself for the next? It is never fun to have a sick baby, I hope he feels better soon. December 8, 2008 at 7:50 PM. December 9, 2008 at 4:52 PM. Jared thinks that this will give Chad the perfect church re...

Friday, July 25, 2008. Nathan and I try to take a morning walk at least a couple of times a week. It gets us out of the house for a little while, justifies the purchase of the jogging stroller, and also gets me some exercise. Nathan's pretty much there for the sippy cup of water, a stick, and to find every ball and dog along our route. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Friday, July 18, 2008. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. He also likes to bring his friends out to play during the day, carrying them around the house with him. It's funny to watch him try to carry five stuffed animals at once, dropping them and picking them back up again. Here he is hanging out in the rocker with a select few of his favorites. Dutch Days: June 2010
http://chelseaanddarren.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 25, 2010. Nothing is better on hot Summer days than eating popsicles and playing in the water. Yesterday it got into the 90's finally, so we decided to do both with Spencer and the kids. We bought this water snake, and the kids had so much fun running through it, and spraying each other with the water. Links to this post. Thursday, June 17, 2010. A walk in the park. She preferred being on the grass, and found this perfect Maple leaf and walked around with it the rest of the night. Valerie an...

The way I see it…. Book Review: The Hiding Place. A bit of beauty →. Book Review: Daring Greatly. March 8, 2015. Let’s start with Brene’s definition of love:. 8220;We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection. Love is not something we give or get; it is something we nurture and grow, a connection that can only be cultivated between tw...

The Utah Arthurs: Merry Christmas!
http://kevinandarielle.blogspot.com/2008/12/merry-christmas.html
Monday, December 22, 2008. This holiday season has been really crazy! We just got back from a week in Nebraska with Kevins family for our pre-Christmas celebration and had a great time. I totally forgot about sending out Christmas cards until Ilia mentioned it the day we were leaving for Nebraska. So instead of cards I thought I would share a Christmas video that I really liked. Enjoy and have a wonderful Christmas! December 22, 2008 at 10:47 PM. That was a great video thanks for sharing it!
