Monday, 29 June 2009. It´s Adi here.We have arrived in Cochabamba! Don´t give up the day job) and proceeded to check me up.All clear, and through baggage into BOLIVIA! We made it into the centre of La Paz on a minibus, stopping every 100m along the motorway to collect new passengers. All the while, the bus assistant was hanging at half-mast out of the window calling out our destination- "Cen cen cen cen cen centrrrrrrro! Once deposited on a narrow street of La Paz, we had our first proper look around.

Friday, 7 August 2009. Who killed the little white llama? Bolivian Independence Day was yesterday. 6th August 1825 saw Bolivia become free from the Spanish, and they celebrate this occasion in style. Parades have been filling the streets and squares of central Cochabamba since Wednesday morning. Schools, the military, businesses, locals. Anyone can participate, and almost everyone does! Tuesday, 4 August 2009. Fin de semana en Sucre. Adi: White, white and whiter still! The buildings of the beautiful whitewashed Sucre were a lovely change to the grey silhouettes of Cochabamba. Having scoured the Lonely Planet guide with a cynic`s eye, we decided to book the "Hostal de Su Merced", an 18thC colonial house in the centre of town. We were not disappointed! Friday, 31 July 2009. Energètica, Taller Internacional. Afterwards we went to a salsa club where the local boys were able to teach us some moves. This weekend we`re going to the capital, Sucre, which is supposed to be a beautiful city of whitewashed houses and lots of culture to see. Donal and I will celebrate my birthday and go out to dinner, and stay in a nice hotel (maybe at least it`ll have hot water! Otherwise, I hope everyone is well back home and thank you for all the lovely messages!

Thursday, 13 August 2009. Adi: Just a quick update on the rest of our travels. Today is both mine and Donal´s last day at work. He is currently at San Antonio prison, and will be distributing his completed "Una guía Legal" later today. It certainly does look very professional, and will no doubt be useful to many inmates. Tonight, the boys are going to watch a football match at the local stadium - I am not too sure that I´ll be joining, but then we´ll go out afterwards all together. Tuesday, 11 August 2009.

Just another WordPress.com site. April 20, 2012. I thing I enjoyed most about the module was the way it was tested. Doing weekly blogs meant more work but it was in smaller more manageable chunks which is much better than having to cram information for other exams and this modules exam at the end of the semester.
