Combining the Chicago blues grit of Howlin' Wolf, the Memphis soul of Otis Redding, the guitar fire of Albert King and the lyrical invention of Bob Dylan, Bottleneck Bob has created a sound that is all his own. The name "Bottleneck Bob" comes from the steel or glass slide (or bottlleneck) worn on the pinkie finger of the left hand while playng the guitar. Originally from New York City, Bob is now a resident of Marin County California, north of San Francisco.
