Saturday, 16 April 2011. Caruso Ion Steam Rollers. I stumbled upon this set of hair rollers via Wendy's FB. She is such a sweet girl to share her beauty secrets and this particular set of steam rollers are not available in Singapore ( as usual). And so, I've just gonna a set for myself! Love the fact that this rollers uses steam to 'set' the curls instead of the usual heated ceramic curlers that literally 'fry' your hair causing damage and dull looking curls. Tuesday, 19 April 2011. A Fren called and asked me what I use to address my domestic maid when I talk about her? Without hesitation, I said 'maid'. And what's wrong with that? In fact I'm quite turned off by people who uses the term helper (like as though it sounds more respectful) but treat them like dirt. And The one FAQ I get from friends is "why do I need a maid when my son and girl are in school the entire day? Ermm yes. I think I know of someone who expects that from her maid. Saturday, 2 April 2011. I'm finally back on track with my routine since the maid has gotten some use to the daily chores as well. However Mischa is still back sleeping on our bed. It's too chaotic for 2 kids to sleep with the maid. They fun fall asleep till midnight and it was driving me crazy! So it's back to the previous arrangement that the maid will sleep by herself.
