Let's see, there was Florida 70.3, Disney World, road racing, politics, and a whole lot more. I won’t hit all these topics in this post but I do plan to cover it all over the next week or so. Swimming had been a little spotty since Florida ½ IM, but I was beginning to find my stroke and also riding into form on the bike. Running was also good, but not great. The week before the race I was trying to decide at what point I would pull out of the race (end of the bike leg or end of the first lap of the run? I was also trying to determine if it is better to DNS. Both have the element of quitting, it’s just a matter of at what point that happens, right? Now after completing the race and having my best half ironman.

I like riding bikes. Thursday, April 02, 2009. The news you have all been waiting for (or already know by now). The reason I am not racing (or really riding) in 2009 is that I am due September 27th with our first child! I am almost through my 15th week, hopefully getting past the nausea (uggggghhhh) but def experiencing all sorts of other symptoms. Learning something new everyday (am I really cut out for this?
