Keeping Up with the Trafs. Therefore we do not lose heart… 2 Cor 4:7-18. Seeing how far we’ve come. January 9, 2016. Today we visited our old transplant floor and better yet, our fabulous nurses! Wish we had gotten a picture with them! What a gift to be alive and well and able to see the people who did so much to help us recover. Being in and out of the hospital for the first five months made this place a sort of home away from home, away from home. Most of all, thank you for becoming part of our family.

It went well, had some trouble getting the IV in for the dye. That worked out though because I got to see one of the people who just put in IV lines that I got to know from the 5 months after surgery when I was in and out of the hospital. 10:30 (11:30 est) I meet with my hepatologist, Dr. Lake (Liver doc).
