Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Updates on the Starling family for our loved ones near and far. Monday, January 18, 2010. My baby turns 1! I'm a little late in announcing this, but Reese is 1! My baby turned 1 on January 7th! Here are a few pictures of Reese enjoying her first birthday. She loves picking flowers, and she got a ride from dad in her new wagon, and she liked eating her birthday cake! Last time we found ourselves at this beach, we were all wearing church shoes! Not so good for exploring!

I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to cook a big meal all by myself and then have guests over that I didn't even know very well. But then I did and I'm glad I did. As a young mom who has just moved across the country, I feel like I'm in a big hole and can't get out. I'm barely keeping my head above water with laundry, constant food shopping, prep, and cleaning up afterward, housekeeping chores, etc. Try to fit time in to actually play with my kids and my day is gone!
