Saturday, November 14, 2009. Jackson reading to Aaron. With every job I've ever had, there have been moments when I think of giving up because I'm so frustrated or overworked or bored. But there are always these moments that make all the frustration worthwhile. Parenting is no different. This was one of those moments for me. Cleverly Disguised as a Responsible Adult. Thursday, June 17, 2010. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Don't tell anyone. Promise? I feed my kids McDonald's. {audible gasp}. Oh, it felt good to get that out. Want to know more? I use TV as a babysitter while I take showers and make supper. If my kids fall asleep without brushing their teeth, I don't wake them up.
