the phoenix: May 2015
http://slightlysinged.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, 22 May 2015. Also, I went to meet other people bereaved by suicide on Wednesday, a small warm group, a space to talk offered as part of a festival of death and dying in our neighbouring town, called Pushing Up Daisies. A marvellous encounter, and the meeting of a need I didn't even know I had. I hope we may meet again. This weekend my brother and my sister will be here. First time we'll all have been together since my Mum's funeral. Sunday, 17 May 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Journaling - The Writer's Life. Friday, October 17, 2014. I'm Falling in Love. I do not know if any of my followers are still around. It has been a drought. My life has taken a turn -. And has driven,. So I've come home after almost 40 years. The good news is,. Part of the reason for the return is so I can write full time. I'm feeling blessed by this change. And the leaves on the trees have changed color. Putting on their most fabulous dresses. As if for the coming home party of the year. But I'll be back.

http://northernwall.blogspot.com/2015/07/how-some-dogs-must-feel-collaboration.html
View From The Northern Wall. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. How Some Dogs Must Feel - Collaboration. This poem was written spinning off the first line in Irene Toh's poem Rouge. How Some Dogs Must Feel. How she sought me out. I will never know for sure. Because I see how. Her eyes dart sideways,. Then to the ceiling before. She speaks some glib rhyme. Something creaks up there rather. After that she looks at me,. Back I should say at. Me cringing as if a blow. Soon will box my ears. August 4, 2015 at 2:23 PM.

View From The Northern Wall. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Stella - Three Word Wednesday. Written for Three Word Wednesday. Check out the creativity of all the other participants using the links you find there. This portrait is true except she is a happy dog, neither dark inside nor lonely. She does find me boring. I am sure of that. Also, while this image is a good likeness, it is not of Stella. Neither image is actually of Stella but both capture something of her mien. Stella, The Half Irish Wolfhound.
