Wednesday, May 13, 2015. I didn't think that kevin read my blog much anymore,. Heck no one really does. But he told me the other day that he checks in,. And that made me smile. So i'll post this for him, and for my memories. Boyd's 2nd season of baseball is now officially over. His team really fought for it, but they lost the first game of their tournament last night. It has been a fun season, a hard season, a fast season. Boyd's team had one win, one tie, many losses. Yes dear, you've rubbed off on me}.

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. This is a taste that i grew up on. It's funny how a recipe can stir up so many good memories. My mom has been making these enchiladas for years. And if you've ever had enchiladas with chili sauce at a restaurant, i'm certain that this is the recipe. You won't believe how easy this is, and so delicious, i can't get them out of my head. Sunday, April 29, 2012. We went to a wedding last night and they served a caprese salad that knocked my socks off. I had to come home today and make some. So, off I went to Central Market. I bought some healthy stuff, and a chocolate muffin, of course. Caprese salad is normally cut in large slices and layered, but I bought small tomatoes, so I just mixed it all together. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Spring races in texas. The nascar races were a few weeks ago, and it really was a great week. Lots of family and friends, pretty good weather, and amazing food. We had the usual group, and were so happy to have uncle larry come from iowa for the races. Kevin outdid himself with brisket, ribs and all kinds of sausages. Life as only we know it. Sunday, January 11, 2009. We're less than 24 hours from our court hearing tomorrow, and although I've been to visit Harry many, many times while he's been at BH2, it was so pretty today, will all the new snow, and I couldn't help but snap lots of pictures of the grounds. We first came here in the summer of 2004, to pick Skip up after our court hearing, and here we are more than 4 years later, preparing for our court hearing for Harry! Saturday, December 14, 2013. At least its not six months later. I'm just really amazed at how well the kids adjusted to the move. I haven't heard any sadness in Lilly except that she misses Emma of course. But she loves our new house and her new school and hasn't complained at all about moving. Tuesday, March 6, 2018. On october 3, 2017, we lost our dear friend steve. We will miss him forever. It was good to have family together though. We had the fall nascar races, and the blue angels flew over while we set up camp. Kevin and i also celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. My cute husband with his pho.
