We took Brian's parents to Disney World with us for a wonderful week vacation. Brayden celebrated his 2nd birthday (in Disney World). We closed on the lot where we are going to build our house. Monday, October 29, 2012. Ft Worth Science Museum. Asher was sad that he missed The Perot so on Monday we headed to the Ft. Worth Science Museum. Links to this post. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Dallas got a new museum The Perot- Science museum. The old science museum was old and run down. The Perot officially opens December 1st but since we are members we were invited for a sneak peek! Monday, December 3, 2012. Disney World- Day 1. We left Monday, December 3 for Orlando. We were all very excited! Both sets of grandparents came with us. We stayed at the Riverside Port Orleans Hotel in one of their special princess room. Above the bed you can watch a "firework" show! Our rooms over looked the gardens and the river which led to Downtown Disney. It was a great Hotel! Once we unpacked we were off! Our first stop was dinner with Chef Mickey. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Day 3- Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios. We started day 3 at the animal kingdom with breakfast with Donald and friends. Picture with the grandparents. On a safari ride. Our time at Animal Kingdom was short. After a late night Adelynn needed some down time. A picture of Claire so you all know she was there too! My brother-in-law, Brady married his beautiful bride, Treva, on June 23rd in Dodge City, KS. So, we headed their for the long weekend. THe rest of the month was spent getting caught up on work, house stuff, kids, sleep, etc.due to us both being off for a week while I was gone. Friday, July 27, 2012. Discovery Garden and Aquarium. We have walked past the Discovery Garden tons of time but never ventured in until yesterday. The discovery garden is 6 acres of gardens with and inside butterfly garden. The butterfly garden is really cool- thousands of butterflies! Saturday, December 1, 2012. Where did the time go! As tradition the birthday kid gets to pick where they want to eat breakfast. And as always Adelynn picked Krispy Kream. For Adelynn's birthday we didn't have a party but we planned something extra special. We took her to the Disney Store to help with the "Opening" of the store. Once she opened the store we took her gift inside so she could open it in front of her family. Anyways she opens the box and balloons come out and inside the box were 3 items.
