Last Friday, Cameron and I went with our local homeschool group and volunteered at The Samaritan's Purse Packaging Center in Charlotte, NC for Operation Christmas Child. Our day began at 5:30am, as we got up, dressed, packed a cooler of snacks, and left with our carpool at 7:00am. We arrived at Samaritan's Purse around 8:45am. I would seriously be at a loss if I didn't have one-on-one time with Superman. We don't always have the time or money to go out on extravagant dates, so we make dates out of simple, mundane tasks. It makes those tasks a lot more fun. and I love the chance to turn ANYTHING into a 'hot date'. Tonight, we had 30-minutes all to ourselves at the grocery store.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010. 1st day of school for the boys and Zach's football game. I have been so swamped with my Chemistry class that I haven't had time to download any pictures. The boys both started school (Zach in 2 nd. Grade and Luke in Pre. K) They both love their teachers very much and the first day came and went without any tears! Luke is in school 5 days a week from 12:15-2:45. He loves going everyday and is very good according to his teachers (phew). Now back to Chemistry). 1st day of 2 nd.

Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Molly 4 months old today! Molly is 4 months old today! Hard to believe for all of us. I took her to the pediatrician for her 4 month well check-up. She is developing right on target for her age. She weighs 17lbs 2oz and is 25.75 in long. She was in the 97th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for her height. My simple yet chaotic life. Friday, October 28, 2011. I've been taking a break from blogging for a few reasons. My kids broke my laptop (insert BIG frowny face), this summer has been chaotic, and I've been going through a tough time figuring out what how to get this fibro and RA under control (and I think that I have). I took a break from eating all raw foods but now am back to eating raw and vegan! I know that Halloween is coming up but do you think that it's too early to decorate for Christmas?

My simple yet chaotic life. 3 gallons of HOT water. 2 C of borax. 2 C of washing soda (Arm and Hammer makes a washing soda. Make sure it's not baking soda). 1 bar of whatever soap that you want to use ( I use Fels Naptha). Grate or cut the soap into pieces and melt in a bowl on top of the stove.
