To use their manners - please, thank you and excuse me. Acknowledge when they are spoken to (ok, we're working on this one). I really struggle with this one Stacy!

We took our yearly trip to the Butterfly Gardens this past weekend. The place was PACKED. We quickly remembered that we usually go on Thursday afternoons but with kids in school full time now that is not a possibility. It was fun taking a couple of pictures of the kids watching the butterflies and trying to identify the butterflies. Fun at the Circus!

Dani and Brevon wanted to read with me this morning, so we reviewed this scripture and discussed it. Tonight at the dinner table Brevon and Lexi start bickering. Brevon brings up the passage, "Lexi shouldn't argue." Dani agrees, " Yeah, she needs to shine like a rock star.". Well at least they are trying to apply it!

Thursday, August 28, 2014. No time for a well though-out post, but I want to record the ramblings in my head. :). We have a middle schooler. I am pleased to say he is very happy so far!
