Gateway Rural Outreach

The Gateway Rural Outreach project aims to provide support, guidance and advice to individuals and families who cannot easily access services available in larger communities in the area. The service is free, private and confidential, and deals with issues such as:-. A wide range of housing issues. Welfare benefits, including disability benefits. Debt management and budgeting. Providing routes to training, education and volunteering. Support and advice on a wide range of issues. Is available in Ilfracombe.
Tenancy Support (Young People)

Young People’s Privately Rented Sector). Working with the Permanency and Transitions team within Social Services, we place young people who have been in the care system and who display a variety of different issues into the private rented sector. However, unlike other projects, this one provides intensive tenancy support to the individual to ensure that they have the right recourses and people around them.
