This is Real, This is Me: November 2010
http://keyboarder578.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 4, 2010. My Heart Back - Original Song. I throw on my shirt. Getting ready to go out tonight. Look in the mirror. See my future laid bare. Gonna have a good time. With my friends, not a care in the world. I think to myself. Why haven’t I done this before? Is it over yet? I’m done with you now. Is this as hard as it gets? I just want my heart back. Step in the room. Feel the music rip through my soul. I feel alive again. Can you tell that I’m movin’ on? Staring across the room.

This is Real, This is Me: Mirror - Original Song
http://keyboarder578.blogspot.com/2010/10/mirror-original-song.html
Thursday, October 21, 2010. Mirror - Original Song. When I used to have it all together. I was the one you always wanted. Do you remember that? Look in the mirror now. And tell me what you see. I can’t see anything. The reflection isn’t me. Never get to close they say. That’s how I’ll live. Cause there’s just no way. Anyone could replace you. Look in the mirror now. And tell me what you see. I can’t see anything. The reflection isn’t me. Who I am underneath it all. Now who I am is defined by who I was.

This is Real, This is Me: December 2008
http://keyboarder578.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 20, 2008. When the muse strikes. You must let it out right? Unfortunately the muse struck me at 1 am. Not fun, especially cause I've got mono and need rest now more than ever. But inspiration is a God thing and he's always got his reasons right? I've tried writing songs before, and they've never really been all that good. Last night/this morning was a MAJOR break through lyrically, and I'm now seriously working to finish it for faf this year. I say all that to say 2 things.

This is Real, This is Me: Battlefield - Original Song
http://keyboarder578.blogspot.com/2011/03/battlefield-original-song.html
Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Battlefield - Original Song. Standing on this battlefield. Stained red with love. My heart waged war against my mind. My nerves and my strength. Could this be life? Could we be real? Hear me screamin’. Pain isn’t so bad in the long run. Don’t leave me sleepin’. Just let me feel like I’m alive. It all comes burning down. Whenever you’re around. And it’s all falling apart. My empty hope of a dream. Could this be life? Could we be real? Hear me screamin’. Won’t get distracted.

This is a work in progress for me and I'm learning as I go along. We've made applesauce, apple butter, and canned pears. I will probably do some more apples over the next couple of weeks while the price of apples is down! The count-down for Christmas is on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 10 kids, 10 years, 10 acres, , used to be our saying, it took 11...

http://familypryer.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
From California to Michigan. Monday, October 19, 2009. That we have been here a year, we can't say that we are seasoned veterans here in Michigan but we have an idea of where things are going! The kids don't seem to mind much. Mary is our resident baker, she can be counted on for cookies, cakes. and brownies. Lately I've been trying a little bread baking. I've collected a few recipes that thankfully are not too difficult! Timothy and John checking out the cars at the Howard City Harvest Festival. Subscri...

The Family Pryer: Countdown to Christmas!
http://familypryer.blogspot.com/2009/12/countdown-to-christmas.html
From California to Michigan. Wednesday, December 16, 2009. I can't believe how fast the time goes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It seems like a blur at this point! No, not really. But we have been cooking and we did have a caroling party here at the house. The tree is up - decorated, redecorated, rearranged. fiddled with and it is now being enjoyed. We made the peanut brittle- a tradition- but now we need to send some off to California. Frank loving the snow storm we had last week. We were all so t...
