Trying to do more than just adding to the noise. When anger fills your heart. When in your pain and hurt. You find the strength to stop. To bless instead of curse. When doubting floods your soul. When all things feel unjust. You open up your heart. And find a way to trust. It's a little stone, it's a little mortar. It's a little seed, it's a little water. In the hearts of the sons and daughters. When fear engulfs your mind. Says you protect your own. You still extend your hand. You open up your home.

Trying to do more than just adding to the noise. Trying to get back into the routine of updating the site routinely. One of the things I'll be doing on a regular basis is posting a setlist/recap of our Sunday services at Crosspoint. Hopefully this will be informative/helpful for some of you out there who are involved in the worship planning process at your churches. Feel free to comment and recap your Sunday and share some ideas. 9:30 and 11:00 am. Awesome Is The Lord Most High. Jesus Paid It All.

Trying to do more than just adding to the noise. Posted by rob miller. Unsolicited Advice is Criticism. Think about it. Do you give advice when you're not asked to? Do you hate it when others do that to you? Advice given without solicitation looks a lot like criticism. Ask others if they want to hear your advice before you offer it. People will listen more receptively to your advice if you ask their permission first. Posted by rob miller. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Trying to do more than just adding to the noise. Loving a person just the way they are, it’s no small thing. It takes some time to see things through. Sometimes things change, sometimes we’re waiting. We need grace either way. And I’ll hold onto you. Let’s find out the beauty of seeing things through. There’s a lot of pain in reaching out and trying. It’s a vulnerable place to be. Love and pride can’t occupy the same spaces baby. And only one makes you free. And I’ll hold onto you. A Tale of Two CEOs. December 25th, 2008. In My Big Mouth. Recently I met two very nice men. Both CEOs work in the same industry and both I asked out for coffee to share ideas on how to help people. Since then one CEO I have almost daily contact with. We have yet to share coffee because of schedule conflicts, but he is very open to new ideas. I have shared coffee with a member of his marketing team and we soon will all be breaking bread together. Merry Christmas – Hardly Normal style. December 25th, 2008.

Monday, January 18, 2010. A Look at Year 2009. I was going to sum up 2009 in by month, but it was a really big year and well it'd take a very, very LONG time to go through each and every month. So follow along below and enjoy what I can remember thus far. If knew things come to mind, I'll add them :). I learned to really know God's love for this very needy daughter. I moved churches and joined the Southlands. THAT'S ALL FOR NOW.I'LL KEEP ADDING MORE.SO LOOK FOR UPDATES :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

And Today I Learned...: Love oversight...
http://ven2raw.blogspot.com/2010/07/love-oversight.html
Saturday, July 17, 2010. This is a blog long overdue, as it pertains in part to some of my observations about myself (expectations, understandings, culture, etc) that were HUGELY apparent to me during my time in Oman. For those who don't know, I was there June 1-June 18 and so badly want to go back sooner than later* *. At the very least, I'll say this.the experience was beautiful. And well beauty is in the eye of the beholder right? So back to my title right.Love oversight? Healthy and wavey, dark brown...

Monday, January 28, 2008. God is MY Event Planner! As I end my time with the Foursquare NextGen. Ministries I've been doing a lot of thinking. I've been thinking about the amazing one-year journey I will complete in just three days. So now that I know this.I find it a really daunting task to identify just where, what, when, and how my next move will be. But I think it has something to do with people and seeing them reach their fullest God-inspired potential. It's a start right? Saturday, January 26, 2008.
