Friday, August 5, 2011. We didn't get to watch any actual parades this year but the girls and I did go to the Pioneer Days Parade Float Preview. They brought all of the floats into the Southtown Expo Center and let every one get a close look at the floats. Also, I don't know why, but all of my pictures are so blury when they're posted. If you click on them the look fine, they just look aweful on the blog. Sorry, I hate it too. I have to say BYU, not your best effort. Grandma and Morgan on the tube.

Thursday, August 25, 2011. Yesterday was Brad and my 9th anniversary. Morgan was very into the idea that it was our anniversary and made us a present. She got out her art supplies and went to work. She kept yelling over to me "Mom, don't look! How do you spell . ", it was really cute. Here is the finished project. Mom I love you because we read. Dad helps. She's a cute kid and we love her! That is some wishful thinking! I love that she loves you because she reads. That works I guess!

Monday, August 22, 2011. Last Week of Freedom. Today was M's very first day of school and she was more than ready and very excited to start kindergarten. She's in the same class as one of her best friends and everyone tells us her teacher is the best. The first thing she did when she woke up was take her backpack into the living room and make sure it was still packed and ready to go. M planned ahead and brought her paleontologist goggles (thanks Aunt Cori! And dug around a little looking for fossils.

Thursday, July 21, 2011. I heard about a thing called "Family Fun Days" at the fair grounds recently and we decided to check it out. Trent and Kylie came along too. We started out with some crafts.
