Moose Season started Monday night at midnight, and by 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, James had killed his first moose! We are so excited, we love moose meat, and it means no buying hamburger for the next year:) As you can see it is a 3 brow tine and measures 41". This is the view the guys had from camp. In Phoenix we went to the zoo with my Parents, and Joshua got to ride a camel with his Dad. Joshua and Kali at the zoo. We always stop at big hippos and take photos because hippos are Nana's favorite. Trying on hats at an antuique shop in Huntsvill, TX with Jack and Patty. Joshua LOVES his GeoTrax, but we always have the issue of Kali taking apart the tracks and taking the trains off, well Joshua found a way that they could both be happy with the trains. In years past the church does trunk-or-treating, but this year the wind was so bad, they decided to do it inside of the church (thank you! Poor Joshua had Pink-eye (which he corrects me still and says he had yellow-eye), but his costume was just too cute to not go out anywhere. Of course I could not find his cap gun anywhere (until the next day) but luckily for us our friends had a stick horse we were able to use. He is such a good little model (when he wants to be). I love this photo of the lion, he is just so tired! I have always loved Giraffes, so we have a gazillion photos of them. This is my favorite because it almost looks like I took it on an African Safari (which it is my dream to go on one). I just love this photo of Joshua, it was so much fun to take him to the Zoo, I have taken him before, but he is now at the age where he is actually interested and loves all of the animals. Joshua loves being a big boy and pushing his own stroller, or even the grocery cart.

Just Joshua a hodge podge of fun stuff. So the other day, I was making lunch and hollered at Joshua to get up to the table, it was time to eat. I hear him come into the kitchen and say "I want to wear this" without looking at him I say "sure just get up to the table" as I dish up whatever it was we were going to eat. James newest "toy" and our lot. Joshua loves all sorts of trucks and equipment (what do I expect, he is 100% BOY), so while the lot was being cleared we had to go check it out and of course look at the excavator. This is the newest addition to James' growing collection of "toys" a Bulldozer with a 14 foot wide blade. He is such a big kid. Of course it is saving us money by him doing some of the work instead of paying someone else to do it, but really I think he is just having fun. Posted by The Guys.
