Pictures will be coming, but I wanted to Praise God for the weather, the energy, the safety and the delight of working on the soffit on the back side of our house, of painting the storage rooms in the basement and of getting the kitchen cabinets up on the wall. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Papa, our Papa! It's always a good time when Papa comes to town! Papa drove down from Minneapolis (that's amazing in itself since he is now officially 86 years old! On Thursday, July 2nd and arrived in fine style mid-afternoon. He brought with him treats from Uncle Doug and Aunt Sue's Quality bakery (those didn't last long! He brought with him work shirts from Aunt Connie's ActionWear business.Thank you, Connie! As Uncle Doug would say "Is this great or what? Papa, our Papa!

Sunday, May 31, 2009. Cindy Shearer and I went to the Michael Card concert tonight. It was a very simple time of worship and singing. Michael Card does such a night job of putting scripture to music. I loved the fact that tonight was filled with scripture, not just emotion. Michael told us about a new website where you can download christian music, lyrics and studies for free. It's called www.byfor.com It stands for "by Christians. I haven't checked it out yet, but am going to soon.

Tuesday, November 1, 2011. A little tradition was carried on last night on Hart Pl.- donut making. We had donuts and delicious apple cider, chatted, moved some furniture thanks to the men, and had some trick-or-treaters. The dough was on the sketchy side as I shifted around ingredients and then mixed it with my hands instead of a mixer, so this will have to be tried again. Did they taste good? Compared to last year when I was working in schools and stressed from too much work and going to grad school at the same time and had a continual cold all Fall long, this year has been a gem. Monday, December 30, 2013. I promised Dale, now that I have a new camera I would update the blog more often. He asks me frequently if i have done it. SO.Here goes my promise to him. Things have been great in the Henry household. We have had so much fun living life together. Each day is a good one and we consider ourselves very blessed. I signed up to run the Ogden half marathon in May and I'm really scared! I'm serving as the Young Women's secretary and love it! Dale is in the 6th grade and is so smart!

Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Morning at the Doc. Today we had to take Braylin to the doctor, not sure what is keeping her up? Last night was a looonnggg nigh. She was up every 30min - 1 hour = No SLEEP. But we are looking good so far! She is taking a really good nap now. Doc said to give her pear juice with water to help her go the bathroom and get back on her medicine for acid reflux.
