On the last Tuesday of August, Rachel and Emma wanted to go to Thanksgiving Point Gardens. In August, Thanksgiving Point has Two Dollar Tuesdays, which means any venue there (except the movie theater) has the admission price of only two dollars. Whatta deal! Unfortunately, the month of August flew by and we didn't have any Tuesdays available before school started. Dream on, Sistah.

As Honest As We Dare To Be! Morgan's Beautiful Christmas Dance. Morgan has been taking dance lessons for a number of months now. About a week ago she got to perform at the Festival of Trees, and yesterday she got to dance again. As all of the families arrived, the audience got bigger and louder, and Morgan (and the other little girls she danced with) couldn't contain themselves as they kept peeking out from behind the curtain. As Honest As We Dare To Be! Grandpa Laurence finished restoring his '52 Hudson, and we got to take it for a spin. The kids all have a blast just sitting in it, opening and closing doors, holding onto the steering wheel, rolling windows up and down, and (of course) bouncing on the seats. As Honest As We Dare To Be! Evadyna Hart Laurence (1909-2008). She passed away two days later on the 17th- Constitution Day. Grandma and Grandpa Laurence- my dad and mom- were married. I think Renee's wedding was the last time my entire family was together, so even though it was only for one hectic day, it was good to be together again.
