A Journal of my Sabbatical Bicycle Journey to Bar Harbor, Maine. Day 16 – This isn’t Sunny Florida! June 26, 2015. This day started like yesterday finished — Riding down the river road. Only this time it was the Maumee River I was paralleling. You couldn’t have asked for a prettier morning. It was about 63 degrees and minimal winds. Perfect for a day cruising eastward. I thought I must have made a wrong turn somewhere though when I saw the Florida border approaching! Little water and a lot more food....

Sunday, 16 March 2014. 2014 Wolf's Pit Fell Race. The largest ever field of 340 runners took up the challenge of the 2014 Wolf's Pit Fell Race. A strong wind today but at least it stayed dry, although the conditions were cold for the runners and spectators alike. Full results now available at www.wolfspitfellrace.org.uk/. 1st - Simon Bailey. 3rd/1st/2nd (plus Simon's son, well done Dad! Saturday, 31 August 2013. With best wishes and good luck for the future. February 2011 - Swales have proved effective - but the tree planting was not so successful. This year we need to plant more trees. Welcome to Bradda Farm. Bradda Farm is located in Kwale County, along the Kenya Coast, south of Mombasa, Kenya. The photo on the right shows workshops in the foreground, with coconut, cashew nut, mango, neem, and fruit trees behind. In the distance, the hills are within the Shimba Hills National Reserve - a wildlife park much visited by tourists.
