Thursday, February 6, 2014. August 2013 Part One- Denver. I took the girls to Denver for a few weeks at the beginning of August. We had a fun time there! And I took a lot of pictures.). Probably my favorite thing we did was drive up into the mountains to Jefferson Lake. It was a bit of a drive but we had cooler weather up there and BEAUTIFUL scenery. Sophia and Audrey (especially Sophia) loved throwing rocks into the water. There were plenty of rocks to choose from. I guess my mom took this one of me.

Friday, June 29, 2007. Just this last week Leah has picked up some more sounds. She just loves to babble and say "da, da, da". If Logan's home he will usually answer her and say "yes, Leah, what to you need? We hope that she knows the sound she makes refers to Logan as dad. And I didn't get my feelings hurt that she made this sound before ma, ma, ma. Here's a video of Leah playing with our poker chips we use to play Sequence. Playing on her stomach. Wow, you're really making up for lost time here :).

Monday, August 27, 2007. Now she's cruising all by herself. The last two days Leah has finally decided that she can walk around on her own without our help. So here are some videos taken today of her. I was working on the computer and turned around to see her walk through the kitchen headed for the bedrooms all by herself. Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Leah is FINALLY crawling. She does get tired of crawling and will want us to walk around with her. But she can now play more on her own and doesn't need me to be right by her. The Austin Zoo is not super fancy or big but I love going and seeing these animals that have been rescued or given to the zoo because they were no longer being taken care of. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Logan finally went in to the eye doctor and got a new prescription for a stylish pair of glasses and contacts. For Family Home Evening this week, we baked some Halloween sugar cookies and let the kids frost them. They thought it was so much fun to decorate them with little candy eyes and sprinkles. They wanted to take a silly picture with this duck. This was Logan's first time to the zoo and the kids' and my second time there, and he had fun looking at the animals with the kids.
