Sunday, September 30, 2007. I've had fun working more with La Chureca. We had a fiesta on Friday where the kids performed in costumes and had face painting, pinatas, singing, and dancing. I left on Friday just with one kid from the school rather than a teacher, and I think soon I'll be able to walk around on my own as soon as I get to know more of the families there. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Pues, Mucho ha Pasado. Anyways, we have two days until the show and we have a lot to improve.

Saturday, December 29, 2007. It was pretty amazing, and a nice taste of home for Christmas. Today I came out in the paper again, with a picture of Cristina and me in our duo. The article says that we're supposed to have a show today, but I think that it got cancelled. I guess that's it until next time. I'm getting excited for my family coming down Wednesday night! Monday, January 7, 2008. Over the Hump Update. Ezra (in photo with me above) has gone home. He finally got to meet his daughter and see his son walk- he was not even crawling when he left. I'm over the hump. Yesterday, 7 Jan 08, I met some soldiers who just got here the day before. I helped them hump some gear over to their billet. They'll be here for 15 months.
