Monday, March 2, 2009. Well, after much thought about this, I am signing off. I'm not saying forever, but for a couple of months at least. The blog, for some reason, has become a major stressor. For me. I sit down to update and I go blank! For now, I just want the pressure that I have put on myself off. It has been fun and was a whole lot cheaper than therapy when we were going through the adoption! Who knows, maybe I will need to start it back up when we start another adoption! More comments on that status than on anything else ever on Facebook. Saturday, August 30, 2008. Day 4 with Kendall. There was a precious nanny, Rosie, waiting outside of our room when we started taking our bags out. She came in and sat on the couch with me and tried to hug Kendall. Kendall wouldn't have anything to do with her and turned her head from her. I thought that my heart was going to explode in that moment! The ride back down the mountain was HORRIBLE. We were late for one of the child's appts. So the driver was trying to make up time. I was scared to death!

Wednesday, June 25, 2008. The Pox have hit! We found out this morning that our baby girl has the chicken pox! A new friend who is at the orphanage loving on the babies for a couple of weeks was kind enough to send me pics of her tonight. She looks happy, and she said that she didn't seem too bothered by them. She still looks so pitiful though! Oh how my heart breaks seeing her sick! Thanks for loving on Kendall Ashley! April is the anniversary month of Josh’s diagnosis. It seems that I slow down every April. It was such a time of helplessness and uncertainty. It was a 4 hour drive through the mountains. amazing scenery! Sunday morning here in Jacmel. Didn't understand a word but I recognized a lot of the songs and could sing along in English.
