Where you go, I go...: Where we are now
http://goexplorerv.blogspot.com/2015/04/where-we-are-now.html
Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Where we are now. Due to job changes, our family decided to continue living in Denver, Colorado. After a very brutal 2014 winter, we longed for more space and warmth. After our rental property sold in summer 2014, we purchased a condo and put the RV up for sale. With the intent of renting it out when we are ready to move. My youngest has expanded her culinary skills. She makes all kinds of yummy foods!

Where you go, I go...: Family is a rich tapestry
http://goexplorerv.blogspot.com/2014/07/family-is-rich-tapestry.html
Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Family is a rich tapestry. During my side-of-the-road wait for our tow truck driver and my attempts to compose shaking hands and a pounding heart, my father calls to remind me to wish him a happy birthday. He was at my sister's house enjoying his favorite meal: home-made mac-n-cheese, just like mom used to make, and Rocky Road ice cream. Arriving in Chicago with my Dad to greet them! Families on the Road.

Where you go, I go...: May 2012
http://goexplorerv.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Now that winter is officially upon us, there are certain things one must address while living in an RV. Unfortunately, our new rig doesn't include a polar package -though it is a tad warmer then the Jayfeather. And the fresh water tank had mold. In doing so, we've managed to stretch a thirty pound tank for two weeks instead of three days. Bill put bubble wrap over the windows in the living room and then covere...

Where you go, I go...: July 2014
http://goexplorerv.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Saturday, July 19, 2014. Frozen water pipes and everything. The sidewalks froze over for days afterward. The magnitude and full impact of the flood created a domino affect that went on for weeks. Not only did we have to remove our skirting and relocate, but our water pipes froze one last time. It was all our poor water filter housing could handle and it cracked in two pieces. How I longed for growing green things and mild weather t...

Where you go, I go...: July 2013

Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Tuesday, July 23, 2013. House-less; not homeless. There are downsides to living in an RV. Besides the obvious lack of space and privacy and ability to stock up on groceries when they are on sale, there are.shall I say."legal challenges." Such as "Where do you live? Unless you live in an RV. My recent challenge is.school. Step #1. Verify your residence. Where do you reside? They accept utility bills, but not cell phone bills or tax ...

Where you go, I go...: October 2013
http://goexplorerv.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Friday, October 4, 2013. Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Power only and uneven pad, but look at the view! We tried a recipe from a camping cook book. Split hotdogs down the middle, add half a piece of string cheese and wrap in bacon. Cook. Bill came home right as they started cooking. Liam is trying to cook as many mini marshmallows as possible. Kyla rarely sits still for a picture. She is savoring this yummy treat! One of the place...

Where you go, I go...: Flooding at twenty degrees below zero...

Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Saturday, July 19, 2014. Flooding at twenty degrees below zero. The first challenge we faced this winter included Clear Creek freezing over and eventually flooding right before Christmas. Several of us kept an eye on the creek, watching the water ebb and flow, creeping over the sidewalk. Late that Friday night, I saw flashlights bobbing through the closed curtains. I knew that it spelled trouble. I called for Bill and he pu...A cou...

Where you go, I go...: BLOWOUT! On my way to life...
http://goexplorerv.blogspot.com/2014/07/blowout-on-my-way-to-life.html
Where you go, I go. Living on less than you want, but more than you need. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. On my way to life. I'd recently interviewed for a camp hosting position at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden, Colorado. After a couple nail biting weeks of waiting, they hired me! Sweeping vistas of misty mornings over the mountains; Table Mesa and half of Denver laid out before our feet. Out our front door is grass and sky and great wifi. This monstrous truck pulls up, with crosses and "Jesus saves...
