Tuesday, October 1, 2013. We decided to take a vacation at the end of September and wanted someplace warm. We decided on Corsica and booked the overnight vehicle ferry for Ille Rousse from Marseille on the 20th.The crossing took about 10 1/2 hours in a tight room with bunk beds. Fortunately we slept thru most of it. Leaving the port of Marseille. Hotel Chez Charles near Calvi. The west coast is rocky with steep drops and narrow roads,. We often encountered traffic jams. Western coast of Corsica.

Thursday, August 13, 2009. 10th Anniversary in Uzes. 10 years ago today we were in the notaire's office with Mr. Feignier, the previous owner of our Mas, signing the paperwork to complete the purchase. It was scary then and at times it still is but we don't feel that we could've found a better property nor village or region. It's been a great ride and let's hope for many more years together. Sunday, June 20, 2010. Back to the Grind. I've also been taking a course in French cooking since last October. I continued on our return in April and graduated w/ diploma Sat. June 19 at an evening dinner party. It was a very enjoyable experience and I hope to continue. Bill receiving his diploma. Bill with his Professor de Cuisine Jacques Nicolini. We've been through several National Parks and campgrounds without wifi access which accounts for the lack of blog updates. I've attached several photos of The Petrified Forest, Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Bryce and Zion National Parks under mostly sunny skies. Thursday, May 13, 2010. The RV in storage in Texas. Gisele with our friend Margaret in new Mexico. The Big Texan Restaurant in Amarillo, TX. After we left our group in Las Vegas, we left our camping at Circus Circus KOA and headed east. We made several stops along the way with the first being in Rio Rancho, New Mexico to visit with our friend Margarita in her new home.
