Through the Pinhole Lens

Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Film: In The Literal Sense. Finally put my new(old). Mamiya 645 (see picture on right) to the test. I've always loved shooting film, but it's just so freaking expensive. So I figured, if I'm gonna do it, go big right? For those that don't know, my Mamiya is considered Medium Format, which means a larger negative than your standard 35mm. More surface area = more details. You get the "picture". They say pictures last a lifetime, but is that really true in the digital age? Sin City ...

Through the Pinhole Lens: February 2013

http://bradresnick.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Kauai: The Garden Isle. Sunday, February 24, 2013. Photos from The Color Run NYC and Philadelphia that I had yet to post. Enjoy! Color Run in NYC was on some sort of old airport. I think military. Pretty cool though. I don't know who was more excited the sprayers or the sprayees. At the color party for everyone that finished the run. For those curious, it's color cornstarch. Does not taste good. Post Philly Run Jump! Countdown to throw up your bag of color. Sunday, February 17, 2013. View from the top!

Through the Pinhole Lens: March 2009

http://bradresnick.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Past and Present Collide. Welcome and Blog Thoughts. Monday, March 16, 2009. Last week I talked about how I view narratives. It's easy to find them from portraits or landscapes, but can you create them from scratch? Part of my thesis for Rutgers, was about just that. I created scenes that, in my head, reflected the style and feel of "B" horror or science fiction movies, with a small twist. I'm lucky enough to have such great friends who help me out on crazy ideas like these. When we're little kids, our p...

http://bradresnick.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Nobody Puts Baby In a Corner. Nobody Puts Baby In a Corner. Thursday, January 14, 2010. A couple weeks ago, one of my best friends from college and her family came up to Jersey to pay a long awaited visit to myself and some other friends. One of those days, while her and her husband were out on a day trip, I decided I'd bring my camera to our joint babysitting adventure. She's a tough kid to keep in one place for a photo, but I managed to catch her a few times during the day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://billgisele.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 13, 2009. 10th Anniversary in Uzes. 10 years ago today we were in the notaire's office with Mr. Feignier, the previous owner of our Mas, signing the paperwork to complete the purchase. It was scary then and at times it still is but we don't feel that we could've found a better property nor village or region. It's been a great ride and let's hope for many more years together.
