The fire received its prophetic name from the residential road on which it originated. Approximately 1500 firefighters battled the blaze for more than two weeks.

Bradshaw Mountain Wildlife Association (BMWA) was founded in 1995 as a Non-Profit corporation dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned and abused wildlife. We are licensed by the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Rescue activities are initiated after receiving notice from the Game and Fish Department, Local Police, Fire Departments or from concerned citizens. We respond to calls 7 days a week.
