Our Little Island: Nature Birthday Party Extravaganza
http://benandallison.blogspot.com/2011/07/nature-birthday-party-extravaganza.html
Friday, July 1, 2011. Nature Birthday Party Extravaganza. We hadn't had a big birthday party for the kids in quite a few years, so we marked two fifth birthdays and one seventh birthday with one big party at our local nature center. It was a perfect location for 25 kids, and we all had so much fun. Adorable cupcakes made by my stepsister, Sateen. Adam and Anna in the room that houses all of the animals. I set up a "make your own trail mix" bar for the kids that was very popular. Casey Angulo (Poly Grad).

Monday, May 9, 2011. Fixin' to go to Texas. Ever since Ellie and I were roommates about 10 years ago and she was obsessed with her home state, I have wanted to visit Texas. I found a good deal on a flight and Ellie and I met up in Austin (a 3 hour drive for her). On my next trip I would like to bring the whole family and go to her hometown outside of Fort Worth. But this one was just the girls. After the Alamo we went to the Riverwalk, which was beautiful! But still enjoyed it so much. On Saturday we met...

Our Little Island: June 2010

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. When I look at Anna these days, she looks so grown up to me. The baby face is gone, and her long hair makes her look older. She wanted a Hello Kitty birthday party. This was her first friend birthday party, and we had five little girls from school, soccer, and church. Here is a snapshot of Anna at 6 years old:. She does not like.to leave the house, to organize her room, to watch "baby" cartoons, or shopping in general. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Here is a little about them at age 4:.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Almost as long as I've known Ben, he's had Arlo. 16 years ago, he brought him to a high school soccer game as a teeny tiny puppy that could fit into his hands. I remember thinking he was so adorable - and then my own kids fell in love with him many years later. He was the best dog, and we will miss him so much! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Last year we celebrated the twins' birthday together at preschool. They were fine with that, but I decided to give them each their own day this year. Our Little Island: April 2011
http://benandallison.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. It is about 85 degrees today. The built-in pool at Grammy and Grandpa's house will still be too cold for a few months, so we busted out an old baby blow up pool and the slip n' slide. I was surprised at how much fun they could still have with a tiny pool! They had tons of fun, until Isabel cut her knee and Dexter made a hole in the baby pool. I guess I will have to get another one and tie Dexter up for the next backyard swimming adventure. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Isabel was Sp...
