Jaworski Chronicles: March 2008
http://danajaws.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." Corrie ten Boom. Monday, March 31, 2008. Field of Diamonds in the Sky. The other night my husband proved the depth of his love and his insanity. We have a small cabin about 400 feet behind our home that quarters a second freezer and most of our moose. I had asked him earlier in the day to collect for me a few packages of hot moose sausage. As I looked at the clock and my husband in his bathrobe and I began devising plan b. When my eyes adjusted ...

Jaworski Chronicles: May and June Happenings...
http://danajaws.blogspot.com/2011/07/may-and-june-happenings.html
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." Corrie ten Boom. Friday, July 01, 2011. May and June Happenings. In mid-May, Jeff was looking out the window above the kitchen sink when a beautiful, white pigeon flew into the yard looking somewhat injured. He went outside and the bird didn't fly off. This bird is crazy! At the beginning of June we had a great visit from an old friend and coworker, Erin (Baldwin) Day, her husband Heath and their precious kids. I think they're a little "fried".

http://danajaws.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." Corrie ten Boom. Monday, August 10, 2009. The other night Jeff went to Kenai to pick up my dad and granddad from the airport. Unfortunately, their plane was delayed and they didn't end up getting into Kenai until 10:45 pm and Anchor Point until 12:20 am. All you can do in a situation such as this is laugh. He said, "Momma I need soap." "Ya' think so, son? Tuesday, August 04, 2009. I love being at home with them. I am blessed to have a husband th...

http://www.handhranch.com/2010/03/youll-be-fine.html
About the H and H. Sunday, March 28, 2010. You’ll be Fine. Dad: “We’re picking up those cow-calf pairs from up at Durham tomorrow, and I need you to drive and pull a trailer.”. Me: “Ok, which one? Dad: “The big gooseneck one.”. Me: “I’ve never pulled the gooseneck before…”. Dad: “You’ll be fine.”. Me: “Ok.”. Dad: “But the wind is supposed to blow about 50 [mph] tomorrow, so just be careful on curves and meeting people. Watch out for gusts. You’ll be fine.”. Me: “Uh, ok.”. Me: “But, uh.”. Thankfully in a ...

HandHRanch: Guilt
http://www.handhranch.com/2011/01/guilt_02.html
About the H and H. Sunday, January 2, 2011. Oh, my poor little neglected blog! 160; I am so sorry it has been so long since my last post. I know, I know, it’s not your fault that I’ve been lost in a tornado of travelling for my job, taking a programmers certification exam, pregnancy-related exhaustion, holidays, and most of all, house construction. . Anyway, did I mention Mr. HH and I are building a house on the ranch? At the same time. 160; Golden oak or honey oak stain? But seriously, the house is ama...

HandHRanch: Electric Fences are Not My Friend
http://www.handhranch.com/2011/02/electric-fences-are-not-my-friend.html
About the H and H. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Electric Fences are Not My Friend. Everyone should have at least one good electric fence story. I actually think I could do a short series on them, but I’ll try to spare you the monotony by summarizing my favorites. I remember once when I was maybe 7 or 8 riding with Grandpa and a couple younger cousins. Grandpa told ME to get the gate, which made me so proud of my little self…after all,. Knew how to get an electric fence gate without getting shocked, right?

HandHRanch: Physics of a Water Line
http://www.handhranch.com/2011/01/physics-of-water-line.html
About the H and H. Sunday, January 9, 2011. Physics of a Water Line. If you live in a city, or even in a small town (we actually live in a small town during the week, so I’m speaking partially from experience here), you know how sometimes you’ll be driving down the street and there are all those orange cones and a city work crew out with trucks and hard hats and shovels and they are digging up a water line? 160; If it’s close to your house, you’re probably thinking. Because this never fails. Wh...Unless...

HandHRanch: Gag Gifts
http://www.handhranch.com/2011/01/gag-gifts.html
About the H and H. Sunday, January 16, 2011. It’s no secret that Dad is not a big fan of Christmas shopping. Since Mom doesn’t usually need anything that they sell at the lumberyard or the feed store, he kind of resents having to go into any establishment that doesn’t fall into those categories. But gag gifts, now those are a different story. Dad will go out of his way, and actually SHOP to find a gift intended to amuse a crowd, and even better if he can embarrass the recipient at the same time. Foreve...

HandHRanch: The Life of a Cell Phone on the Ranch
http://www.handhranch.com/2011/02/life-of-cell-phone-on-ranch.html
About the H and H. Sunday, February 13, 2011. The Life of a Cell Phone on the Ranch. There are few things that have a rougher life around the ranch than cell phones. I don’t know what it is about them, but they cannot catch a break around here. 160; Just a few examples of what a cell phone has to deal with:. 160; Until he decided that the best way to bust the dried mud off of the coat was to beat it repeatedly against the concrete sidewalk. That phone never stood a chance. 160; That dumb phone never br...
