It was a glorious 15 day cruise and one we will cherish. We think we could get used to this! We were escorted into the harbor by boats - some pleasure boaters but mostly by the military. The icon of San Francisco - the Golden Gate Bridge! We had 4 of these bad boys next to our ship. Sailing under the Gold Gate Bridge. Quite impressive. Three days at sea!

We didn't take our cameras with us on the sailboat as we weren't sure how much water we would be exposing them to. So we took pictures of the port, dock and a lone bird fishing for its lunch. Monday, 12 November 2012. We've had the studio for three weeks now and we're settling in nicely. The other artists are lovely (and very talented! And we feel very lucky to be part of the Unit Twelve. I've been enjoying getting back into screen printing again and have produced a couple of tea towel designs (the hoover one needs some tweaking as it took about 4 hours to complete! Some felt backed cat and dog brooches, a linen shopper bag, a linen across body bag and some recycled paper notebooks.
