It seems that every year my excitement and anticipation grows along with the kids' until just after opening presents and that "well now it's all over" feeling hits. But I was pleased this year as our kids were genuinely grateful and happy with the treasures they received. The smiles, the hugs, the love, the laughter, the excitement. Bessman Family Updates: November 2014
http://bessmanfamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2014. So I decided (for the sake of cuteness) to continue our monthly updates/photos of this sweet baby girl. It's so much fun to be able to look back and watch her grow before our eyes. And to look back on all the milestones she was reaching. It's priceless really. And just think of all the new developments she'll be making this year! I recently proclaimed "I'm pretty sure our baby hasn't had a single serving of vegetables in the past three days! Half of it." I said, frustrated.

Bessman Family Updates: October 2014
http://bessmanfamily.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. If you'd like a reminder of what pumpkin carving generally entails in this household refer to this post from 2012. This year we put off carving so long that the beloved event actually happened last night.the night. Before. Halloween. And in case you're wondering why I'm in so many of the photos, it's because this year it went a little something like this. Left the pumpkins outside and nearly "forgot" about carving until the kids insisted we needed jack-o-lanterns. I persuade Bre...

Our Cleft journey… and so much more.: Now what?
http://bugbeefamily.blogspot.com/2011/10/now-what.html
Our Cleft Lip Journey. It stresses me out a bit. We have reverted to getting naps in the swing and car seat and he is refusing to be put down in his crib. I don't mind dealing with all this but when I have to rely on someone else to do it for 12 hours, it worries me. I am hoping for some major changes in the next 5 days. Sunday was a replay of the night before. He slept off and on in his swing. Luckily, my mother-in-law was here and took over at 5 am so that I could catch a few hours of sleep. I am a gra...

Our Cleft journey… and so much more.: 05.08
http://bugbeefamily.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Our Cleft Lip Journey. This Memorial weekend we spent it with our great friends Jeff and Lauren in Lake Chelan. The weather couldn't have been better! Visiting the local fire department, go cart racing with daddy (Dan and I both agreed that the $7 was worth it to see that smile on his face) and put-put golfing (Uncle Tom would be proud! Tyler-isms of the weekend. Sounding very frusterated as he was trying to get to sleep with a stuffy nose, "Mommy, my nose not working! Mommy, why I can't fly". I guess he...
