Wednesday, 30 March 2011. I haven't been out of Townsville's city limits since i first arrived here in February. i love it. it's great here, but i was starting to get antsy. Friday i packed up my sunscreen, sneakers, bug spray and bathing suit, and on sunday i headed to the Paluma Rainforest for a weekend of escape. Sharkies, the on-campus travel office, set this trip up, so there was a group of about 18 other people to share the experience with. we met at the student union building and hit the road.

Sunday, 1 May 2011. Red center (part three): bucket lunch! Wake up as usual. have brekky as usual. roll up the swags and pack up the trailer as usual. Before we headed off to our next adventure, we had a sort of Easter egg hunt. Kendal carefully hid Cadbury chocolate eggs in the tree behind where the food station was set up. Friday, 20 May 2011. Macaelagh behind the tree! Our free excursion weekend brought me back to the days when stubbed toes were the worst of my worries. Cat and Mazz, the coordinators of us JCU students picked us up on Friday around 2 oclock and we were on our way to being kids again! The bogans, after getting drunk, wondered over to our camp and disturbed the peace. we told them to screw off, and they did. because we are tough. Sunday, 19 September 2010. Being a junior in college. Its going well. i moved into my apartment at college a month ago. classes started about a month ago too. everything is going well. after my first week of classes, it seemed like my course load was too light:. I have epidemiology only one night a week and it's not a demanding class by any means. Ceramics is only two days a week and though it requires alot of work and self-discipline with regards to time management, it is too fun to think of as a burden.
