About Brain Injury and Progesterone. Current Brain Lab Projects. Traumatic Brain Injury in Adults and Children. We are investigating whether progesterone will be safe and effective in a pre-clinical pediatric model of TBI. We are actively seeking funding for this work. Working with the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN), we are planning feasibility studies to test progesterone in severe TBI in kids. (read more).
