It is with huge sadness that I have to report that my friend who was mentioned in my previous post has unfortunately passed away. I will never say that she lost her battle as ‘battle’ or ‘war’ metaphors for describing Cancer piss me off. The implication that someone who dies from Cancer loses because they didn’t ‘fight’ hard enough is just bullshit. Lessons learnt from Leanne and Emma.
