Wind Waker

Programming and Level Design. I have created a fan level for the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The idea was to stay close to the style, and learn from the techniques used. I learned a lot about how you can texture your props and make the textures reusable for multiple things. For example the texture for the bridge is used for other props. The path running up, the light green "grass" (not the grass link can chop away) and the coastline are all in one texture. This project I worked on my own.

Programming and Level Design. The player starts in a goldmine, trapped. He will need to solve a few puzzles to be able to proceed with the game. The puzzles are designed to be not too challenging aswell as not too easy. The layout of the level, lighting, puzzles and half of the assets. Unreal Development Kit (UDK).

Programming and Level Design. We created this game for the course GameProjects. It had to be finished within a timespan of 12 weeks. You play a human that has crashed his flying ship on a floating island. Quickly you notice that the volcano is about to erupt. It is up to you to convince the animals. On the island to help repair your ship so you can all escape to safety. If you can convice the animals to join your party, they become playable characters with their own unique skills. It contains shaders support, a lot of physics (gravity, collission, wind, .), control over lights and shadows, creation of terrain, loading of models and textures, (backface)culling, contains a collission mode and a debug mode, Character controllers, custom skyboxes,. Triggers, pick ups, . Everything you need in a 3D game engine. I plan on improving it in the future. This project I worked on my own.
