Today's NArmy: The few, the proud...
http://todaysnarmy.blogspot.com/2007/11/few-proud.html
Saturday, November 10, 2007. The few, the proud. Happy 232nd Birthday to the United States Marine Corps. Ive worked with many Marines. Throughout the course of my career. Ive come to understand them; I admire them; I love their work ethos; and their esprit de corps. Here are three specific things Ive learned about Marines from Marines:. 1) Marines live by the rule of threes. 2) Marines have better situational awareness (SA). Than most Army Soldiers because of the OODA Loop. November 12, 2007 at 7:46 PM.

Heck of a Sandbar, Cap'n! The adventures of James on his quest to see the entire world - one way or another. Monday, July 16, 2007. Hello, everyone. I would say that I'm so sorry for not posting in a while and that I have been so busy that I just couldn't take the time to post updates, but neither of those statements are true. The truth is, the Army has a wonderful program called "Rest and Recuperation" of which I was recently taking advantage. A, E, L, I love you. Links to this post. The Older and Wiser.

Heck of a Sandbar, Cap'n! The adventures of James on his quest to see the entire world - one way or another. Sunday, May 13, 2007. Now, I don't mind the heat, but it sure has put a damper on my running cycle. I have since taken to running indoors. I usually don't favor the treadmill. I tend to feel like a hamster on his wheel, running with all of my might, yet actually traveling nowhere. Futility at its finest. I love you, James! All of us mommies are so proud of you! You are the hero, allowing us to do ...

Heck of a Sandbar, Cap'n! The adventures of James on his quest to see the entire world - one way or another. Wednesday, August 8, 2007. Until I left all that greatness in my dust! WOOOOHOOO, there were maybe 20 people in front of me out of about 300 who took part in the race. Meet army standards? A, E, L, I love you! Run and fun do not go together, particularly in the desert. Why not opt for the team branding competition? At least you get a commemorative scar. August 28, 2007 at 7:51 AM. Subscribe to: Po...

Heck of a Sandbar, Cap'n! The adventures of James on his quest to see the entire world - one way or another. Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Now, why not a full marathon? Well, my friend, that would probably hurt. Besides, who's to say the marathon isn't half completed? Didn't think I would have any takers! Seriously, though, people often ask me why I run so much. "Why do you run so many miles? Because they're there. My long answer? Well, folks, wish me luck. I'm off to hit the pavement. On a serious note, ple...

I would take leave, but we are planning a Hawaiian Vacation in March, so I need to save my leave. Thanks again for everything! Welcome home and well done! Enjoy time with your family. 42 year old...
