Helping Others With Cancer: Faith Builds and Fear Recedes
http://susan-can-help.blogspot.com/2009/03/faith-builds-and-fear-recedes.html
Helping Others With Cancer. Monday, March 2, 2009. Faith Builds and Fear Recedes. I have gone through some big changes over the past week. Last week I had a major unexpected bleeding episode while at the Dr’s office for a routine visit. Fortunately, it’s located right next to the hospital so they rushed me to ICU and got things under control. I am grateful to God and thankful for all the support and prayers from many friends and family members – especially my husband and children. Well Praise the Lord!

Well, enough talking and musing- now for more DOING! This is how I'm spending my 38th birthday this year. Are you scratching your head? It's a 5K held in Eugene, Oregon called. I've wanted to do this and the Warrior Dash but honestly- I just chickened out. Just kept thinking "oh gosh- wouldn't THAT be a blast? I'd LOVE to do that! But never took the leap. My best girlfriend Jocelyn suggested we do this and I jumped on board. NO. MORE. WISTFUL. THINKING. Doesn't it look FUN? I still delivered balloons and...

We had a few crazy storms this September. One afternoon we watched the street fill, and the sidewalks disappear in a matter of minutes. The winds pounded the Summer dust right off the windows and blew down a portion of our backyard fence as well. Several thunder and lightening storms occurred as well- which we enjoyed! We don't get those very often in the Pacific Northwest, so when they happen they're a bit of a novelty! Here's a few more random shots from around the house. Mother of 2 kidlets. Hopel...
