Dear Friend: January 2010

Stories for you about my life in Africa. Thursday, January 21, 2010. Adventures in South Africa: March of the Buffalo. It's always a game of chance when you drive through a game park looking for animals, like we did in Addo Elephant Park in South Africa. You might be in a park full of animals but see absolutely nothing. Or you might see everything. It just depends on who's out and about that day. When there's no fences, you never know who you're going to run into on the road, either. After finally losing...

Stories for you about my life in Africa. Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Why I Live In Africa. Whenever I come home to the U.S., I get several reactions to the fact that I live in Africa. 8220;Um. why would you do that? I'm so glad you are serving the Lord that way! 8221; Yes there is. But I didn't come to Africa because of the need. That's right. I didn't come to Africa because of the need. Or because I love the people. Dear Friend: July 2009
http://mp-dearfriends.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Stories for you about my life in Africa. Friday, July 10, 2009. The little girls in my neighborhood like to play a game they call “Lunga-lunga”, which is a more complex version of hopscotch. Since it is rainy season now, they can draw the lines in the wet ground better than in dry season. There's usually at least two “Lunga-lunga” games drawn out on the path to my house. I couldn't quite get the rules down as I watched them play, but they were sure having fun. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Dear Friend: Random Thoughts
http://mp-dearfriends.blogspot.com/2012/04/random-thoughts.html
Stories for you about my life in Africa. Sunday, April 22, 2012. I thought today “I should blog”. If you haven't noticed, I'm terrible at this blogging thing. I'd like to be better, so I'm heading the call of my random I-should-blog thought. I'm also heading the advice of my mother who not only says I should blog more, but I should also not agonize over what to write so much and just write. So. I write. Two of those things are primary, though. First, vacation. In the past or the future?
