It’s a little lesson about gratitude. And it all started with my wedding ring. Just look at that thing. Go ahead, look at it! I’m just sad that this is the best picture I have of it. The bad news is that this is probably not the most exciting post. My apologies in advance. This past week has been CRAY-CRAY! My parents went to Florida for a business trip/Disney World fun. Monday, September 16, 2013. A Day at the Park. Today I only had Izzy for about an hour. I didn’t think it was worth it to drive all the way home after picking her up,. So I took her and Collette to Ann Morrison Park instead. Collette had a blast playing on the equipment. She got so good at going down the slide by herself. Izzy loved watching everyone and everything from the stroller. She’s such a little goof – she kept pulling faces for the camera. I also met two girls who were at the park with their kids.

So I apologize for the random nature of the post. Emmett decided that he loves chocolate chip muffins. I woke up the other morning to Collette on my bedroom floor like this. Well, it happened. My little boy is 9 months old as of Tuesday. He continues to be such a little joy to our family. I am so grateful for him. He brings such a calming little presence into our home. He had his checkup on Wednesday. He weighs 20.4 pounds. And is 29.5 inches long. That makes him 57th percentile for weight. And 90th percentile for height. So long and skinny! It's funny because Emmett is the same weight now. As Collette was at a year old. Maybe it's a boy-girl thing? It's hard to get pictures.
