Wednesday, December 14, 2011. It's been such a long time since our last post, it kinda gives you a pretty good idea of how rough this school semester was. A few things have happened since "boating enthusiasts" but I think most of them were covered on thebikepedalingginger.com. Right now we are in the process of finishing up our christmas shopping, my last final exam is on friday and then the 27th we are going to Chile for some much needed vacations. I can't wait for my system to go back to normal.

I had every intention of posting this before Christmas when I sent out a few Christmas cards. That obviously didn't happen but better late than never! I can't believe 2011 is almost over and that means we have to remember to write 2012 on everything in just a few short weeks. 2011 was such a great year and I have a feeling 2012 is going to be even better. Here are some highlights from 2011 for the Aravena family. To celebrate graduating, I decided to turn 23 a few days later. Cisco turned 27 in July!

A great hair day. Don't you love those mornings when you wake up and your hair looks perfect and ready for the day? I do It doesn't happen often but it happened a few days ago. I am posting the picture. And I don't care that I don't have an ounce of makeup on and I still have morning bags under my eyes. It was just too awesome to keep to myself. Seriously. Awesome. You too can achieve this look by following these simple steps. Step 1: Take a hot shower and do not wash hair. Step 2: Partially blow dry hair.

In other news: I have been working a lot and reading a LOT. Cisco has been working his butt off in School and I am so impressed with him. Mac has not been getting out as much as he should and I fear he is getting lazy. Poor dog. I don't have much to blog about though. It is so overwhelming and there are are so many! This summer is disappearing way too fast. But we have done some fun things at least. Like the cruise. I loved the cruise. I miss that beach in Nassau. I could have stayed at that beach for hours on end. And that blue water. So beautiful. Since we have been home we celebrated the 4th of July. So we celebrated by going to Moochies. Babies are pretty cute. That why we are really excited to get one of our own this Fall! We found out the day before New Years Eve so when I posted that 2012 was going to be a good year, I meant it! I am currently 15 weeks along so I have made it through my first trimester. We had our first ultrasound 2 weeks ago and it was the coolest thing we have ever seen. Cisco's good friend Victor was getting married in the San Diego temple on Friday June 1st, with the reception down in Mexico where his wife is from so we decided we would make the trip and we had such a fun time. I was 27 weeks along so it was quite the adventure driving in a car that long. The view from our room in the morning. How cute is he asking for help opening his mint. Such a huge bowl of delicious seafood pasta. Friday we went to the beach for an hour before heading to the temple for the sealing.
