Friday, January 17, 2014. Autumn’s Gymnastic Performance. All ready to go preform. I really thought she was going to get really nervous and shy (she usually shuts down in big crowds) when she saw how big the audience was, but I was completely wrong. She was so confident and ready to go. Owen was so sweet and cheered really loud for her. She was beaming out there! Adorable, I know. Doing the ‘Cha Cha Slide’. Her absolute favorite warm-up. Friday, January 17, 2014. KB Home Christmas Party. Brandon’s company (KB Home) had a fabulous Christmas Party this year. They had it at the Brown Palace Hotel. It’s a fancy shamancy hotel that is the 2nd Oldest Hotel that is still going in Denver. It’s beautiful and the dinner was amazing. I only had my phone with me, but here are a couple pics I snapped of us all fancied up. Owen wanted to take a pic of us before we left. He loves taking pics on my phone :). The beautiful Atrium on the Hotel.

Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Trip to El Paso and Las Cruces. 2 weeks ago the girls and I hopped on a plane and headed south. My niece was getting married in Las Cruces and Cami was a flower girl! This was an exciting trip. The traveling part was kind of difficult, but we managed. Reese is at an age where sitting still for any length of time is deemed cruel and unusual punishment. Luckily Cami is a veteran traveler and took everything in stride. First leg of the trip heading out there. Best chips and salsas.

We had heart shape toast with strawberry jam, made heart shape cookies and we bought the girls a few treats for when they got up in the morning. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Reese is grandpa's girl. She will lean to go to him regardless of who else is holding her and will snuggle and sleep on him.which she does rarely with anyone else. A break in the cold.

So after 5 1/2 years, lots of ups, downs and selfies, we have a surprise! I could not be more excited to navigate life with Brandon Smith. He is my best friend and teammate and I love him to pieces! Enjoy this little video celebrating 5 1/2 years. 3 Meat Stuffed Poblano’s. We’ve played with a couple of stuffed poblano recipes and this one so far is the best! As one kid said “this is my favorite recipe we’ve had besides wings.” So here it is. 6 poblano peppers (cut on one side lengthwise and deseed).

So now that i am not voting every night (that was only my excuse for the past 2 months) because my brothers-in-law won their grant we were all voting for! So we went this year on a nice spring day.ok, not "nice" exactly. Notice the kids are in winter jackets and some are all bundled up!
